We live in denial that the resource that sustains life is not in infinite supply. Water shortage has been with us for decades, even in the developed world, yet we continue to waste it on power washing cars and drives (500 litres an hour), few gardeners use grey water (washing up water) on their plants etc.. Cape Town recently came very close to running out of water altogether. California has suffered more than five years of drought. London is drier than Istanbul, and the Environment Agency’s own data shows that the water courses of South East England are drier than parts of North Africa. Dry The Life.

about

This is a song about the daft things we are told when we are growing up as parents, teachers, religious leaders and others seek to shape your beliefs. My Mum told me if I looked in the mirror long enough I would see the face of the devil, and also that if I pulled a daft face in the mirror it might stay like that. More seriously, we do not question enough of what we are told, and what the largely discredited world media would have us believe.
